If you want to barbeque, but don't want to use lighter fluid because of the chemicals, try a charcoal chimney starter. You can find them online or at your local home maintenance store starting at $20. Quick Tip #101 Improve your posture 10/13/2011

To improve or control posture start with the abdominal muscles. All you have to do is pull the abdominals up and in and the shoulders automatically roll back, sternum lifts up, and you have great posture. Pull up from the belly button with a flat back and the sternum (chest or breastbone) automatically lifts. When the stomach is relaxed, the shoulders come forward, the lumbar spine (low back) arches back possibly causing pain to the low back and shoulders. Taste of Thai - San Diego Restaurant Review 09/21/2011
by Davee Kaplan
Before going to Ray at Night, a gallery walk in North Park, my dear friend CC and I decided to go to Taste of Thai in Hillcrest for an early dinner. Mind you it was the beginning of the dinner rush, so we knew it could be a while before we could find parking and actually sit down to a meal. We had been there before and liked the service, ambiance and food. There are just a few places in town where I've found curry that I like. This is one of them. What is a spice rub? 08/22/2011
By Davee Kaplan
A spice rub is any combination of dried herbs and spices used to flavor your meat by rubbing the dried herbs and spices on cooking, hence "spice rub." Most rubs include salt, pepper, or sugar, and spices, but can also include coffee grounds, cinnamon, cocoa, sesame seeds and dried chili peppers. Rub the spice mixture on the meat and let it sit. That's all there is to it. Quick Tip #101 Improve your posture! 08/19/2011
One quick tip that will make a difference right now. Over 50 dishes made fresh every day. MaryAnne, the owner is a sweetheart! I like everything I've had there. Cashew chicken is one of my favorites. Portions are very generous, so go hungry or be sure to ask for a doggie bag (really a people bag). The daily specials are usually very good. There is limited indoor seating, about four tables. If you get there at 11:30 you'll get in and out. They do dine-in and take out. Great for kids too. If you have more than 4 people, have someone get there early. You'll love the food. It's good, inexpensive, and OB is so much fun to people watch and enjoy a nice meal. I saw this and had to try it (although admittedly, I added some strawberries and blueberries!) It's not that much of a stretch from a green smoothie with lots of ice ... you've got to see this though.
